Safak was born in 1984 in Istanbul.He Graduated from marmara Fine Arsts Faculty. He Started his music career by taking drum lessons from studio Hip-hop Selami Sevinc while he was in high school.He accompanied many bands and soloists on stage and TV programs.He took the stage with the Bluestaff group in vorious bars and festivals.He accompanied local and foreign latin-jazz and pop styles in various orchestras.He is currently accompanying him on stage in Murta Kaynak Orchestra.
He also has his recording studio which called Siyah Records in Istanbul. Here he makes both his own drum recordings and open album recordings.
